Dear Rigzone
Hello editors of Rigzone. I am Seung Min Ahn and I am from Republic of Korea. While I was searching through the web for research purpose based on the controversy between the naming of East Sea and the Sea of Japan, I came across your map of east Asia. I am writing this message in order to ask you to correct this mistake.

The term Sea of Japan that is labeled on your map(http://www.rigzone.com/news/image_detail.asp?img_id=6235) has been only used less than a century. On the other hand, the term East Sea has been used around the world for over two millennia. In fact, many European map makers often labeled the Sea of Japan as the Sea of Korea in their maps.

However, I am not requesting you to change the Sea of Japan into the Sea of Korea. All I am asking you to do is either label Sea of Japan as the East Sea or together.  I hope you have the time to read my mail with concerns. I appreciate you taking your time to read this message and I hope you grant my request. Thank you and have a nice day.

Sincerely
Seung Min Ahn
