Hello! I am Min woo Kim from Hana high school. I am also from organizations which is called Dokdo press corps. Our organization is trying to check some Internet data which use incorrect words in historical truth. Unfortunately, your website shows ¡°Liancourt Rock¡± which is a problematic term. So, I hope you to change your website¡¯s term.

º»·Ð

In fact, Dokdo is a Korean territory since the Joseon Dynasty. In Sejong Silok (record of King Sejong), there shows apparent materials about Joseon territory. In materials, silla(the period of the three states in Korean history) conquered the kingdom of Woosan(an old name for Ulleungdo) and¡¯ annexed Dokdo. Even, Japan acknowledged that fact in some publications such as ¡°eunjusicheonghabgi¡±(1667). Through this fact, we can find the term ¡°Takeshima¡± which is often use in Japan is just a restraint. So, I entreat you to change the term ¡°Liancourt Rock¡±.

We ask for your website to consider about changing ¡°Liancourt Rock¡± to the ¡°Dokdo¡±. It may seem like a simple alphabet, but it's a place where a nation's history be implicit. I hope all of us in the world gets the right information for everyone's sake. To correct historical problems, please think about our opinion.
