To whom it may concern,

Greetings,

I am Seonwon Kim, a high school student from South Korea.

I am searching to find out historical errors about Korea on a regular basis.

I found out something wrong on your website and strongly urge to correct it "Takeshima is Japanese Territory".

I hope you would deeply tackle this issue.

º»·Ð

On your web sites, history of Takeshima, (it should be also corrected the right term, Dokdo) started in 1905, when Japan took diplomatic rights away from Chosun dynasty.

During Japanese colonial era, Japan distorted Korean territory.

The truth is as follows: Dokdo has been conquered by Silla Dynasty since 6th century, and Dokdo belongs to Korea until now.

In 1693, Japan fishermen kept crossing the border illegally. An Yong-bok, a Korean brave man, complained to Japan and received Tottorihan¡¯s reply to an inquiry of the Edo Shogunate in 1695,

In addition, we have many historical facts and maps which say Dokdo is Korean territory consistently

I hope you should take neutral position about Dokdo and search the historical background of Dokdo again.

It will be very helpful time to reach the truth about Korean history and territory.

I look forward to seeing the historical truth on your web sites near future.

Sincerely,

Seonwon
