Dear relevant people

I am Seonwon Kim, a high school student from South Korea.

I was interested in searching historical errors on the websites.

Incidentally, I found the wrong name "Sea of Japan" on one of your figures.

Now I am going to show you some evidences why you should correct it.

º»·Ð
Korea and Japan have wrangled what to name the sea between the two countries over decades.

According to the International Hydrographic Organization, naming at the same time is recommended if the two countries did not agree on a single name.

Korean people call the sea "East Sea" over 2000 years.

If Korea and Japan reach a compromise about naming, East Sea/Sea of Japan will be an answer.

However, a single name "Sea of Japan" should be avoided.

I would like to correct the single name to "East Sea/Sea of Japan at your figure.

It is good not only for you but also for readers who see your figure.

Please reply to me if any positive change occurs.

I appreciate to your time and patience of reading my letter.

Sincerely,

Seonwon Kim
