I have found a report called " Le Commerce des fruits de la mer au Japon" from your site, and found "La Mer du Japon" which is translated into English "Sea of Japan". This name is named during colonial times and should be revised officially as "East Sea". The official name of the sea is East Sea, while some of Japanese document insist to use "Sea of Japan", which is not fair as historically it was originally called "East Sea"
