While reading your post on the Tonghae Satellite Launching Ground, I came across an error where 'East Sea' was incorrectly labeled as 'Sea of Japan.' The East Sea has been integral to Korea's territory since the 6th century, coinciding with the discovery of Dokdo, an island situated within the East Sea under Korea's jurisdiction. Historical evidence, such as Imperial edict No. 41 from 1900, unequivocally affirms Korea's sovereignty over Dokdo. Furthermore, Korean authorities have consistently maintained jurisdiction over the island.

Despite Japan's claims based on historical documents, it is crucial to note that such evidence is contentious due to Japan's actions during its 35-year occupation of Korea, which resulted in substantial damage to Korea's historical records. Japan's arguments are therefore considered dubious and are supported primarily through diplomatic means.

The dispute over Dokdo and the East Sea persists, but it is indisputable that both have historically belonged to Korea and will continue to do so. Therefore, I respectfully urge you to replace 'Sea of Japan' with 'East Sea' on your maps. This correction is essential as the current term is inaccurate and inappropriate. Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could confirm the implementation of this change.
